It happens that you need to leave and postpone the sewing project, but if you used a disappearing marker for marking, the work may be wasted. We tell you how to avoid this.
Fabric markers come in many forms. If water-soluble can be removed from the fabric at any time, then the marks made by a disappearing marker will disappear with time themselves. Often, manufacturers promise that the markup will remain for 2-14 days, but, as practice shows, inexpensive markers give a much less lasting result, and marks disappear literally in a day, or even in a night.
Methods for marking the details of the pattern on the fabric
If it happened that you used a similar marker and are forced to postpone work indefinitely, there is a way to save your work. For this you need a narrow tape.
Just glue the lines, after making sure on an unnecessary piece of the same fabric that the adhesive tape does not leave any marks or damage when peeling off!
Without access to oxygen, the marker lines will wait for your return, and your work will not be lost.
