Victoria is a biologist by education "with a passion for embroidery, nature and vibrant colors."
About the page author
Victoria Rose Richards is one of those needlewomen who rethink embroidery in a new way, giving this ancient art a modern, original reading. Victoria is a biologist by education, she lives in rural England and, by her own admission, loves nature. Her other passion is embroidery. Victoria says that with her Asperger Syndrome, she discovered embroidery as a way to find peace and tranquility after school. She recalls: "I remember how I pulled a few threads of green and blue from the box with embroidering my grandmother ... The first time I tried to embroider such landscapes in October 2018."

What is this page about
Victoria's works are similar to bird's-eye photographs. Patchwork quilts of farm gardens and fields, interspersed with textured areas, overgrown with trees, between which rural roads and ribbons of blue river channels curl - all this is embroidered on fabric with thread and looks decorative and realistic at the same time. Another favorite direction of Victoria is bright and contrasting landscapes: the author admits that, in addition to nature and embroidery, she loves rich colors.
