Breathe new life into the old coffee set by painting it with black paint. And we will “treat” you with wonderful recipes for coffee!
Modern porcelain paints, for example Marabu Porcelain, do not require firing, even in an oven. They are applied to the surface of porcelain, ceramics or glass and just let them dry. After that, the dishes can be washed even in the car. These paints can be mixed with each other, and in addition to add sparkles to them, or already purchase paint with sparkles - it will give your dishes a festive look. They are sold either individually in small jars, or in sets of 3-6 jars. Draw with paints with a brush or stencil.
YOU WILL NEED: different items of coffee service in white; black porcelain paint: for large surfaces - in a glass jar (applied with a brush), for small surfaces and filigree patterns - a marker for porcelain (for example, from Marabu); narrow crepe (masking) tape for pasting surfaces; brush; nail polish remover and cotton buds.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: wash and dry objects thoroughly first (surfaces must be perfectly clean). Apply paint to selected areas of the service items, for this purpose all surfaces that are not painted over should be sealed with crepe tape (around the handle of the kettle, the handle on the lid of the sugar bowl, etc.).
To make undulating strips on the surface of the milkman, glue strips of crepe tape with light waves. Apply porcelain paint to the free spaces between the glued tapes.
Leave the paint to dry completely and only then carefully remove the crepe tapes.
To correct minor defects, use nail polish remover.
Fix the paint, if indicated in the manufacturer's instructions.
Please note: areas of objects that will directly come in contact with food or the mouth (for example, the inner side and the upper edge of the cup, the middle of the plate) are better not painted.
And in addition to our painting workshop, there are several original coffee recipes.
COFFEE WITH LEMON AND GARLIC
For a cup of coffee - 1 tsp. with a slide of freshly ground coffee, 1 tsp. sugar, 2 drops of lemon juice and grated garlic on the tip of a knife.
Make coffee with sugar, immediately add garlic and lemon juice (in any order). Garlic enhances the smell of coffee, while the garlic smell in coffee completely disappears.
COFFEE WITH COGNAC AND CHOCOLATE
For a cup of coffee - 1 tsp. with a slide of freshly ground coffee, 1 teaspoon of cognac (brandy, Armagnac, etc.), a slice of orange zest, ½ teaspoon grated chocolate (bitter), 1 tsp fat cream.
Beat cream and refrigerate while coffee is brewing. Brew coffee, immediately pour cognac, put a slice of orange zest and let it brew for 2-3 minutes. Remove the zest, put whipped cream on top and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
CINNAMON LATTE
For a cup of coffee - 1 tsp. freshly ground coffee, 2 tbsp. l milk, 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp fine granulated sugar.
Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Put coffee to brew and, while it is boiling, heat the milk almost to a boil, add sugar and cinnamon to it, mix and remove from heat.
Pour into cups of coffee and pour hot milk with cinnamon and sugar on top of the wall with a thin stream.
