Now is the perfect time for peelings. They will give your face skin tone and radiance, help you meet the spring in all its glory.

The name of this popular procedure comes from the English verb to peel - "peel", "exfoliate", "peel". The task of any peeling is to cleanse the skin not only of impurities, but also of old cells that interfere with the absorption of the active ingredients of creams, serums and other skin care products. And also exfoliating procedures stimulate self-healing and self-rejuvenation of the skin. Many dermatocosmetologists even believe that if you regularly conduct a peeling course, you will always look at least 5 years younger than your age.

Surface peelings

They are the most popular and safe, since only dead cells of the surface layer of the epidermis are exfoliated. This group includes most of the cosmetics for home use - scrubs, gommages and masks, serums and lotions with various forms of vitamin A, fruit acids, enzymes (for example, bromelain or papain).
The most popular varieties of salon surface peelings are AHA-peels for which alpha-hydroxy acids are used: almond, pyruvic, apple, milk, glycolic.
Last dermatocosmetologists in particular honor: of all the ANA acids, its molecules have the smallest sizes.Due to this, they penetrate the basement membrane of the skin, where new cells nucleate, and stimulate their growth.

AHA peels are ideal for combating increased oily skin and the first signs of aging, most often dermatocosmetologists recommend them to 20–35-year-olds. Peels with alpha-hydroxy acids tighten enlarged pores, normalize the sebaceous glands, whiten acne, smooth small wrinkles, stimulate collagen and elastin production, and improve skin tone and complexion.

The main plus - they do not require pre-peeling preparation and rehabilitation period. A few hours after the procedure, slight redness will hold, then the skin will begin to peel off a little - all this is easily adjusted by makeup.

HOW MUCH

Usually spend 4-8 sessions with an interval of 7-14 days. To maintain the effect, you can subsequently make soft ANA peels once a month that do not have a photosensitizing effect, such as almonds.

Mid peels

Good for mature skin. They exfoliate the cells of the middle layers of the epidermis and stimulate the cells of the dermis, where active age-related changes occur after 40–45 years. Therefore, the effect of them is more pronounced: small wrinkles, acne marks, scars and stretch marks go away, and deep wrinkles and wrinkles decrease, pigmentation disorders disappear, skin cells begin to actively produce collagen and elastin, and the skin tightens.

The most common procedures are TCA peeling with trichloroacetic acid and peels with retinol-based preparations, which are sometimes called "yellow" for the color of the active substances. One of the mildest is peeling with plant retinol - an extract of the urukum plant. Now, AHA acids have also been introduced into the middle peelings for more gentle exfoliation.

Keep in mind: before the procedure, usually for several days you need to use creams with ANA acids or retinol to prepare the skin. And get ready
to the fact that the first days will hold redness and swelling, then active peeling will begin. Therefore, do not follow the example of Samantha from “Sex and the City” and do the procedure on the eve of an important event: there is a possibility that you will have to hide your face under a veil.

HOW MUCH
1-3 sessions with an interval of 1-2 months.

Deep peels

They allow even after 60 years to find young smooth skin - it is not for nothing that movie stars loved them so much. They are carried out, for example, using a laser under general anesthesia, in a hospital. Such peels “erase” the entire epidermis and require a long rehabilitation period.
It is no accident that in recent years they have become less popular - there are many other, less traumatic procedures. For example, you can do annual courses of median peels - and the cumulative effect will be approximately the same.

HOW MUCH

1-2 times in life.

Kefir rivers, swept banks

An excellent analogue of mild enzyme peeling will be kefir or sour cream masks. The lactic acid enzymes contained in them break down the bonds between the old cells of the stratum corneum of the epidermis, accelerating their exfoliation, have a light whitening effect, improve the supply of oxygen to the skin, encouraging it to self-repair.Apply kefir (for oily skin) or sour cream (for dry and normal) on the face, neck and decollete, let it dry a little, apply another layer, and so 3-4 times. After 10-15 minutes, rinse the last layer with warm water, wipe the face with tonic and apply cream.
