All products are produced in a small factory, which is located in the forest, next to a river near a small village. Shawls and scarves are made only according to old technology. It has been known since the time of the ancient Livs who inhabited the territory of Latvia. The shawls and shawls presented in the collection are a mixture of linen with wool and linen with viscose. The manufacture of each product is the painstaking manual labor of several specialists. First, linen is woven on old wooden looms, woolen or viscose thread is woven into it. Then it undergoes heat treatment at high temperature and is dried in fresh forest air.Next is the process of painting with natural dyes, after which the product is rinsed in a river and dried again.
Part of the collection is linen shawls with gold prints, which also manual way applied by a textile artist. Even the tag on each product is made to order and embroidered on silk. The production of each shawl or scarf takes up to ten days. Products Zolota exclusive, there is not a single repeating model.
